The request here is to leverage the "Test Execution" report which must display the control results along with its related objects that are mapped within the GRC library. This mean that if 'Test Item' is selected as "Control" specifically, it should still populate the related objects (AOC/Requirements) based on the relationship maintained within the library.
Currently, system does display the related objects when you explicitly select the test item as "Requirement" or "AOC"; followed by testing them with 'Controls'. With this model, it defeats the whole purpose of establishing the relationship in library and end users are always mandated to select the test item as "Requirement" or "AOC".
Also, other dashboards like "Area of Compliance by Recent Control Test Results" must display the results based on indirect relationship to Controls (where, 'Test Item' is selected as "Control").
Also, the relationship to consider bi-directional view across any objects that is being referenced. This must be considered against all impacted areas - like data explorer/ uploads/ reports/ charts/ data browser and so on.
